Born and raised in San Diego, California, Misa Ankar found her way to Chattanooga in 2005 after graduating from the University of San Diego. What brought a West Coast girl to the South, you ask?  Love – of course! Misa married Dr. Charley Ankar DDS, a Chattanooga native, and she has never looked back. Together, Charley and Misa have two children who keep them on their toes in the best way possible. 

Misa is, without a doubt, a charismatic and polished professional. She is committed to serving others, and she does so with a magnetic energy that none can deny.  Misa has found that real estate provides her the opportunity to nurture many of her passions:  building relationships, serving the community, and exposing others to all of the beautiful experiences Chattanooga has to offer.  Misa is dedicated to finding her clients their perfect home, and she views her career as a responsibility, not simply a transaction.

Misa has stated that among her reasons for pursuing a career in real estate is that “Chattanooga is a very promising city for property owners – a city great because of its scenery and developing areas, and a wonderful place to raise a family.”  Because Misa prioritizes people over profit, she is committed to leading her clients in a way that will be beneficial to them not just in the short-term, but in the long-term as well.  She understands that education is key, and she is intentional in educating both herself and her clients. 

A Certified New Home Specialist, Misa has also been recognized as a top sales producer and takes pride in knowing that the majority of her business is referral-based. To summarize, Misa has a servant’s heart, a quick wit, a sharp mind, and a dedicated spirit.  She listens to her clients’ wants and needs and sees her role as a way to give back to her peers and her community at-large.
